SERVICES

These are all of the services that we offer and where they lie within the game design and development pipeline.

CLIENT PROJECTS

Here’s some of our select client jobs

A client asked us to create a marble maze with a background that would become increasingly distracting over time. After deliberating on potential gameplay mechanics and distractions, we made a rectangular maze in Unreal Engine, and simulated gyro controls that would allow the player to move the ball by tilting the maze with their mouse. For the distraction, randomly colored balls would be generated at timed intervals, moving along the screen and increasing in both number and velocity over time.

Generating Ideas

Our team collaborates with you to brainstorm and generate game ideas. We’ll discuss potential game genres, themes, and unique selling points that can elevate the game’s excitement and engagement.

Game Outline

We work with you to outline the basic structure of the game.
This will include the game’s story, the characters, the gameplay mechanics,
the level layout, and its artistic and visual style. We will also create physical
representations to make it easier to visualize the key elements of the game.

Game Design Document

We compile all the information of the finalized
aspects of the game together (gameplay mechanics, character development, level design, user interface, and art style) into one master document. This master document will be utilized as a reference for the entire design and
development team.

Prototyping

We create a playable prototype of the game based on the
information we compiled in the Game Design Document. We use this prototype to identify what aspects of the game work and what need improvement based on our own observations and feedback from other playtesters.

Master Planning

This step is where we began planning on how to execute
the game development process. We determine what the technical requirements for the game are (choice of game engine, developmental tools, and hardware platforms). We also identify any potential challenges that we may have during the process and what solutions would work for them. And
finally, we define what each of our roles and responsibilities are during this process, create a comprehensive timeline of how we will execute the project and ensure that the deliverables are ready on the deadline.

Asset Creation

We produce art assets, including detailed character models, environments, and animations. We collaborate closely with the design and programming teams to ensure that these assets and seamlessly integrated into the game.

Level Design

In this stage, we design and build the levels of the game, focusing on the layout, pacing, and flow of it. We strive to create creative, engaging, and challenging environments that enhance the player’s experience.

Core Development

We focus on developing the core gameplay mechanics, systems, and other features that we outlined in the Game Design Document. We also begin implementing gameplay logic and ingerating the creative assets and regularly test and refine these elements to ensure that they work together
seamlessly.

Final Programming & Quality Assurance

We finish integrating all the gameplay mechanics, systems, and assets into the game. And we conduct rigorous tests to identify and fix bugs, ensure stability, and refine gameplay so the game functions as intended. We utilize various testing methods to maintain standards and deliver a quality product.

Refinement

We focus on polishing and refining the overall gameplay experience and address any issues or feedback based on the testing from the first round of quality assurance.

Final Quality Assurance

We conduct a final round of testing to confirm that the game is ready for release. We verify that all features are functioning correctly, performance is optimized, and that there are no bugs remaining. And we work with you to prepare for the game’s launch by finalizing the distribution plans.

Release

We assist you in launching the game on the selected platforms (PC, consoles, and/or mobile). We also coordinate with you to address any issues that may arise during the game’s launch.

Post-Launch Support

We provide ongoing support for the game, including patches, updates, and any bug fixes. We address any issues reported by players to ensure the game remains stable and enjoyable.

Analytics & Further Development

We collect and analyze all player data and feedback to understand how the game is being played and received, and we utilize this information to make an informed decision about any future updates, features, or any additional content that you may want to provide to players.
